Brief biography
I'm 29 years old and live in Leeds in the UK. I'm originally from Southport but came to Leeds when I graduated from (Liverpool John Moores) university in May 2000. I live with my partner, John and our four black cats in a small, untidy house next to a park.
From 2000-2006, I worked at the University of Leeds. I worked in a number of different roles in different departments, finishing up supporting the University's virtual learning environment (Bodington Common). I left the University in May 2006 for a "career break", intending to return to elearning, but instead started my own company with John.
Nowadays, I'm mostly found running the websites that we've developed (more details on the Projects page) and coming up with lots of site ideas that we don't have time to implement because we're too busy with other things. Even though it's stressful and frustrating at times, working for ourselves is way more fun than working 9-5 for someone else.
I'm a non-affliated leftie, interested in the green movement, human rights, software freedom and the anti-globalisation fandango. I'm an atheist, a pacifist and a feminist.
I am mostly happy and very much enjoy laughing and eating (but not at the same time).
