Even before we finished unpacking, the house met with the (grainy, blue-tinged) cats’ approval.

- was pulled into a yawn-fest by Boron and @johnleach. Is it time for the weekend yet? #
- lies about who made tea this morning but suspects @johnleach is not convinced by her scheming. #
- thinks @johnleach's coffee might have kicked in. #
- very much enjoyed hearing some new Gillroyd Parade songs at their rehearsal this evening. #
- has been awake for frickin' ages but not accomplished anything yet, bar the consumption of a bacon buttie. #
- hears awesome news :D #
- is on the bus to drama but has a horrible feeling she has forgotten something important, like pants or shoes. Very unsettling. #
- @sarahjarvis hurrah! hope all goes well with it :) in reply to sarahjarvis #
- has packed 15ish boxes but aside from the bookcases, the house looks exactly as cluttered as it's always done. worrying. busy few days ahead #
- failed at making tea: my cup was icky, substitute cup cracked right down the side (only found out after pouring in tea) & the milk is lumpy. #
- was just called "Mrs Leach" by someone. No. Just no. #
- likes that the new house smells of burnt wood from testing the chimney. Reminds me of our ace holidays in Staithes at http://bit.ly/staithes #
- can't believe how much nicer & warmer the house feels now we've painted the cyan stairway magnolia. Like a real home. #
- @urbanwide @monkeyhelpr super congrats on the new arrival :) #
- exchanged in dangerous horseplay today during a painting break. regret it now. the bruises on my arm & arses will be a pretty purple. #
- met five day old Joe today. Neither of us freaked out or started crying. Probably because he was asleep. #
- took a bowl of cereal and half a cup of tea to realise the milk was very, very off (I just thought the muesli tasted funny.) #
- @jeremyjarvis i finished paying off mine in april. even though it's not much each month, it's a great feeling to get rid of it, isn't it? :) in reply to jeremyjarvis #
- @Threebt I managed to wash a load last week, almost all socks but none of them matched. No idea where the others are. Blame washing fairies. in reply to Threebt #
- @thattommyhall brightbox uses Xero which is pretty good – £19pm though. lojoco just uses a spreadsheet, enough for our limited ins & outs. in reply to thattommyhall #
- suspects she shouldn't be talking about rosemary's baby and the alien baby in V to 37-weeks-along katherine… worst. friend. ever. ;) #
- might have the wrong office chair today – I'm sitting up far too straight. #
- is home alone and has to make the difficult decision between ordering in some yummy Chinese food or eating random things from the freezer. #
- a piece of random white fish, a sweetcorn cob and hash browns would be a strange dinner, would it? #
- has had an evening of pyjama-clad crochet action. wild. #
- is sat on the new house's balcony, watching squirrels jumping from tree to tree. awesome. #
- is tired. glad @johnleach "volunteered" to cook dinner. #
- has some time-critical stuff to do this evening but would really much rather snooze. boo. #
- is feeling rather unfocused today. Have started writing about a billion different things but abandoned them all after two paragraphs. Bah. #
- wonders if any Rubyists can think of a better way to evoke "home sweet home" than "class Home ; acts_as_sweet ; end" #
- @thattommyhall what? seriously? :( #
- has gone through a wide range of emotions so far this morning and she's only been up for 30mins. practise for first drama class tonight? ;) #
- made it through the first drama class without breaking down crying or blurting out a swear. Now needs spicy soup. #
- and @johnleach have been working on their soon-to-be new office tonight: well, I took down the old fitted cupboards while john made dinner. #
- got a mysterious parcel in the post. i prized open the kitchen roll wrapping to find homegrown chillis from mum & dad. no note, just chillis #
- likes it when coincidences lead to fun discoveries. #
- is going for a walk in the sun under the pretext it's work. #
- has been stripping wallpaper in the new kitchen. it peeled off really easily and addictively, like picking a giant fake-tile-patterned scab. #
- has had a busy weekend at the new house: kitchen fully stripped, fake stone wall down. met the neighbours' cats and we are now best friends. #
- @emmakirton hi! you look younger in your profile pic than i remember ;) Found you randomly on Fri, glad to hear you & D are doing great :) #
- is at the leeds carnival, has fingers that smell of curry goat and a tongue stained purple with grape sofa. #
- comes down after an afternoon high on sugar cane and candy floss. #
- wants to cry: we're supposed to be getting the keys to our new home tomorrow but now we're hearing that everything STILL might fall through. #
- @Threebt i will support you re: echidnas, if you will support my desire to have a slow loris http://bit.ly/Ju7eA in reply to Threebt #
- needs a wee. needs a wee really, really badly. #

- has now seen 4 new neighbourhood cats but all from a distance, not properly met them yet. Will bring bribing treats tomorrow to change that. #
- is very tired after a long but productive day in the new house. could have done without having to push start the car on the way home too. #
- has had a disappointingly unproductive day, still tiring though. Need to plan what next for the house – more work to do than we'd thought. #
- suddenly feels overwhelmed by everything but thinks some sleep now and planning tomorrow will help her feel better about things. #
