I used to look forward to getting older because I thought that it meant I would get over a lot of the bullshit nonsense that's been weighing me down for years. Then as I got to know more post-middle age people, I saw how many are still wrapped up in what's always bothered them.
Took a lovely walk with my doggy today. It started out overcast as we walked up the Calverley hills but the blue sky came out for the return along the river - which meant breaks for dog swimming and later, dog posing pic.twitter.com/GPVotYGaUS
Ace bike ride with @johnleach this evening - around Eccup, down to Arthington, back up Creskeld Lane and through Bramhope. Gorgeous country lanes, perfect weather for it. Thanks so much for the Creskeld Ln recommendation @idletim and @BahaNick16 😀
