1. We – me & Lily and the guy from down the road & his group of dogs – keep crossing paths as we weave around the woods.
2. The poultry spice* smells delicious.
3. Breaking off the painful little platelet crystal that forms on the spot on the curve of my ear.
4. To abandon one design in favour for another: I have to write off two evenings of work but the new pattern shows off the yarn so much better.
